He matured into a wise and level-headed general and succeeded his mentors as strategist and Grand Commander of the Wu army. He also became a mentor himself (as well as the occasional nanny) to the next generation of warriors in Wu. Nicknamed 'old man' by General Gan Ning, a nickname he's not too fond off.
